With a desire to rethink and reinvision the true purpose of public education (at the moment), I am rereading Adrienne Maree Brown’s Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds. I’m reminded of the nine fundamentals of the practitioners of emergent strategy.
In essence: Relationship above everything else.
And with that wide-eyed perspective, I move forward as an educator and as a parent.
