Check. And Check.

If you knew that your life was merely a phase or short, short segment of your entire existence, how would you live? Knowing nothing ‘real’ was at risk, what would you do? You’d live a gigantic, bold, fun, dazzling life. You know you would. That’s what the ghosts want us to do – all the exciting things they no longer can.

For the past two years, I have been working towards my Associate Certified Coach credentials. And check. A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone for the unwavering encouragement and support throughout this learning and experiential journey. The learning experience continues as I move towards establishing a personal coaching practice to partner with educators and education administrators, alike.

Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential-holders are trained (60+ hours) and experienced (100+ hours) coaches. They have demonstrated knowledge and emerging proficiency in the application of the ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and definition of coaching. Earners show a commitment to high ethical standards and have demonstrated, through rigorous assessment, professional competence in their work with clients. The ACC must be renewed every three years.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission statement of my coaching practice is to actively partner with educators to cultivate a purposeful, wholehearted intention so that they may deepen their professional practice and sense of knowing. This will be achieved through working to support other educators and education leaders and bringing the empowering approach of coaching to their practice and, ultimately, the classroom so that all learners continue to be seen, heard, and supported. A passion for, and commitment to, fostering a deep social and emotional learning focus in all schools continues to be ‘my jam’.

As a public educator for over twenty-five years my passion is to foster a deeply mindful, heart-led, social-emotional learning approach in my professional practice that attempts to create a safe environment for all learners to take risks along their personal learning journey. Building school cultures on a foundation of mutual empathy, compassion, and respect is paramount before any true academic learning might take place. I am very proud of my own professional learning journey as a BC educator and lifelong learner. You can check out my ongoing learning adventure at https://jeffyasinchuk.ca.

LASTLY, if you would like connect and are curious about how we might work together please set up an appointment at your convenience.
