The Vancouver School Board’s School Library Resource Centre Consultative Committee along with UBC and SFU Libraries recently devised a list of the most important research skills needed for BC graduates.

Still many educators in British Columbia do not see value in helping students to develop these essential skills as learners in the 21st century. I hope to continue to work with my colleagues to develop a culture of digital literacy that is greatly in need.
